Indeed, the animals are few meters from the roof and jumping from one room to another. The position of the shadows of the two animals suggests that the source of light in this picture is at few meters above the animals. Probably, the source of light is an electricity bulb on the roof of this room.The author uses a red color, which is bright, and a white color, which is calm.
